With the Burgundy Canal, Burgundy's historic capital of Dijon, and the charming and winding Vosges River, La Petite Saône, this is one itinerary that should be in added to everyone's calendar. DAY 1: DIJONBoarding from 6.00 p.m. in Dijon. Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail. Dinner on board. Overnight.DAY 2: DIJON - LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINEFull board on board. Guided visit of Dijon. You will discover the former capital of the Valois Dukes of Burgundy, the Palace of the Dukes, and the Estates of Burgundy in the Parliament district, passing by the Notre Dame church and meandering through the medieval streets. Afternoon spent cruising toward Longecourt-en-Plaine. You can use the bicycles available on board (2) to ride alongside the boat on the canal's bicycle path. During the evening, arrival in Longecourt-en-Plaine. Overnight.DAY 3: LONGECOURT EN PLAINE - AUXONNEFull board on board. Excursion along the Grands Crus wine route. The touristic Grands Crus wine route passes through villages and the finest and most prestigious of the Burgundy vineyards. Back on board and departure to Auxonne. You will also have the opportunity to bike along the banks of the Doubs River by following the Green Way (1). Overnight in Auxonne.DAY 4: AUXONNE - GRAYFull board on board. The whole day spent cruising toward Gray. You can spend some times walking or biking (1) along the canal's banks. At the end of the afternoon, arrival in Gray. Overnight.DAY 5: GRAY - SAVOYEUXFull board on board.Guided tour of Gray, discovering the wonderful treasures of the town as you meander through its streets. Back on board and cruising toward Savoyeux. You can usa one of the onboard bicycles and enjoy a ride along the Green Way (1). Feel free to bike alongside the boat and come and go as you please, returning on board at any time. Arrival in Savoyeux early in the evening. Overnight.DAY 6: SAVOYEUX - PORT SUR SAÔNEFull board on board. Visit of the medieval castle at Champlitte, listed historical monument since 1909, which hosts the museum of popular Arts and Traditions. Departure of the barge to Port-sur-Saône. From the boat, you can admire the lush, green landscapes as well as the impressive castle of Ray-sur-Saone as we cruise by. Gala evening. Overnight.DAY 7: PORT SUR SAONE - DijonBuffet breakfast on board. Disembark at 9.00 a.m. Transfer to Dijon by coach, arriving late in the morning. End of our services.
