With the Burgundy Canal, Burgundy's historic capital of Dijon, the charming and winding Vosges River, and La Petite Saône, this is one itinerary that should be in added to everyone's calendar.
DAY 1: Dijon - PORT SUR SAONE
Transfer by coach from Dijon to Port-Sur-Saône. Boarding from 6.00 p.m. in Port-sur-Saône. Presentation of the crew and welcome cocktail. Dinner on board. Overnight.
DAY 2: PORT-SUR-SAONE - SAVOYEUX
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising toward Savoyeux. This is the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the hillside scenery and rolling meadows during our cruise. We will also pass through several locks, including those at Rigny and Savoyeux. In the afternoon, visit to the medieval castle at Champlitte, which hosts the museum of Popular Arts and Traditions. Back on board. Overnight.
DAY 3: SAVOYEUX - GRAY
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising toward Gray. Take time to admire the spectacular scenery that we slowly pass by as we cruise. In the afternoon, guided tour of Gray, discovering the wonderful treasures of the town as you meander through its streets. The tour will end by tasting some of the local specialties. Overnight.
DAY 4: GRAY - AUXONNE
Full board on board. The whole day is spent cruising toward Auxonne, arriving near the end of the afternoon. You can relax on the sun deck and admire the beautiful scenery. Bicycles are available on board at any time if you would like to take a bike ride along the canal's banks (1). Overnight in Auxonne.
DAY 5: AUXONNE - LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising. You can admire the magnificent lush, green landscapes all along the river on our journey. In the afternoon, excursion along the Grands Crus Wine Route. The touristic Grands Crus wine route passes through villages and the finest and most prestigious of the Burgundy vineyards. Back on board in Longecourt-en-Plaine. Overnight.
DAY 6: LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE - DIJON
Full board on board. Morning spent cruising Dijon for the rest of the morning. In the afternoon, guided tour of Dijon. You will discover the former capital of the Valois Dukes of Burgundy and its wonderfully rich heritage. Gala evening on board. Overnight.
DAY 7: DIJON
Buffet breakfast on board. Disembark at 9.00 a.m. End of our services.
