Meandering Along the Burgundy, Saône and Centre Canal

DAY 1: DIJON

Boarding from 6.00 p.m. in Dijon. Presentation of the crew and welcome drink. Dinner on board. Overnight.

DAY 2: DIJON - LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE

Morning spent cruising. Take advantage of this first day cruising to relax and admire the beautiful Burgundy scenery, or to walk or bike alongside the boat on the canal's bicycle path (1). In the afternoon, excursion along the Grands Crus Wine Circuit. The touristic Grands Crus wine route passes through villages and the finest and most prestigious of the Burgundy vineyards. Back on board in Longecourt-en-Plaine. Overnight.

DAY 3: LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE - SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE

Morning spent cruising. As we travel, you are free to bike along the Doubs River at any time by taking the Green Way bike path (1). In the afternoon, tour of Saint-Jean-de-Losne. We will explore monuments that tell the story of the city's prestigious past, such as the monument commemorating the Siege of 1636, and the Hôtel-Dieu, which was a charitable hospital founded in 1658 and is surrounded by intricately wrought iron railings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. Back on board. Overnight.

DAY 4: SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE - CHALON-SUR-SAONE

Morning spent cruising toward Chalon-sur-Saone. As we cruise by, you'll admire the Saône River’s hilly banks and typical local houses perched on its hillsides. In the afternoon, tour of Chalon-sur-Saône, birthplace of Joseph Nicéphore Niepce, one of the inventors of photography. Our tour will continue in the town center, where we will have a tasting session of wine from the Côte Chalonnaise. Back on board. Overnight.

DAY 5: CHALON-SUR-SAONE - CHAGNY

Morning spent cruising toward Chagny. This is the perfect moment to relax and enjoy the hillside scenery and rolling meadows along our route. Departure for the hike to the Cirque du Bout du Monde. You'll discover the imposing chalk cliffs carved out by the Cozanne River which created a blind valley, where a waterfall over 80 feet high adds a touch of wonder. Back on board in Chagny. Overnight.

DAY 6: CHAGNY - SANTENAY - SAINT-LEGER-SUR-DHEUNE

 Departure toward Santenay, a wine village with a priceless historical and natural heritage, which we will reach during the morning. We will set off from the ship and walk to the center of Santenay, a charming little wine-producing village. You can join us for a wine tasting session at one of the 38 wine producers in the village. In the afternoon, cruise towards Saint-Léger-sur-Dheune. Relax and admire the passing lush landscapes. Late in the afternoon, arrival in St. Leger-sur-Dheune. Gala evening. Overnight.

DAY 7: SAINT-LEGER-SUR-DHEUNE - Dijon

Disembark at 9.00 a.m. Transfer by coach to Dijon, arriving late in the morning. End of our services.
