DAY 1: Dijon - SAINT-JEAN-DE-LOSNE - LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE
Transfer by coach from Dijon to Saint-Jean-de-Losne. Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 2:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll set sail at 2:30 p.m. for Longecourt-en-plaine.
Take advantage of your afternoon cruise to enjoy the surrounding tranquillity and abundant, untouched nature. Bicycles are available on board if you would like to ride along the canal's banks(1).
We'll reach Longecourt-en-Plaine and enjoy an evening of entertainment.
DAY 2: LONGECOURT-EN-PLAINE - PETIT-OUGES - DIJON
We'll spend this morning cruising towards Petit-Ouges.
Recharge your batteries far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and revel in the intimate atmosphere of your barge. You'll be well taken care of by a small crew of 6 dedicated members all the while tranquilly gliding past plentiful landscapes.
Bicycles are available on board if you would like to ride along the canal's banks(1).
This afternoon, join us for an excursion: the path of the three washhouses in Petit-Ouges and the Cîteaux Abbey. We'll start off with an unguided walking tour along the path of the three washhouses in Petit-Ouges before moving on to the Cîteaux Abbey. The visit to the historic buildings of Cîteaux will let you discover monastic life and Cistercian tradition. Making an exception of the Abbey's usual practice by taking you into the interior of the cloister, this spiritual and cultural journey will lead you across 900 years of history to the community living here today.
We'll return on board in Dijon. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.
DAY 3: DIJON
Enjoy time at leisure on board this morning and stroll freely through Dijon.
This afternoon, join us for an excursionalong the Burgundy Grands Crus Wine Route. We’ll set off on the Grands Crus Wine Route, including a visit to the Château du Clos de Vougeot, a symbol of more than 1000 years of Burgundy history. As early as the 12th century, monks from the Citeaux abbey built winegrowing outbuildings in the middle of the vines. The main building strongly influenced by Renaissance style was added in the 16th century. The journey continues to a wine estate for a tasting of Burgundy wines. We'll return on board for our gala dinner and evening.
DAY 4: DIJON
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
